Exciting times for a US healthcare company that recently set up their global capability center in BGC Taguig as they strengthen their Finance Service Delivery group. Reporting to the Country Head, the Finance Director will lead and oversee the delivery of service and operations ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of shared services across multiple functions, starting with Accounts Payable, Capital markets, FP&A and GA, and expanding into other Finance, Supply Chain, Clinical, and other operational areas. This role is responsible for managing a team of Managers, driving operational excellence, and implementing best practices to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction. The Finance Director will also play a key role in strategic planning, and continuous improvement initiatives, aligning operational strategies with the organization's goals.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional service delivery across Finance and other functions, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the GBS center in Manila.
- Drive operational excellence by developing and implementing a culture of continuous improvement through methodologies such as LEAN, Six Sigma, and Agile, fostering collaboration and innovation across all service areas
- Oversee the establishment of cross-functional governance frameworks that promot accountability and transparency in service delivery, ensuring that all functions work cohesively towards common goals.
- Utilize data-driven insights to monitor key performance metrics and identify opportunities for process enhancements, ensuring that operational efficiencies are achieved and sustained.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate and execute strategic plans for the GBS center in Manila, facilitating the expansion of services within Finance.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing service delivery challenges proactively.
- Champion training and development programs for team members, enhancing their skills and capabilities to support the evolving needs of the organization.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations, while actively identifying and mitigating operational risks to safeguard the integrity of service delivery.
- Serve as a key resource for operational best practices, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration across the organization to enhance overall performance and service quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree (preferred)CPA / CMA / ACMA / CFA (highly preferred)Certification in Agile, PMP, LEAN or Six Sigma (preferred).8+ years of experience working in a shared services environment.
