Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Writer with expertise in Core Banking Systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining technical documentation, user manuals, business requirement documents (BRDs), and process workflows related to banking systems. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear and comprehensive documentation that supports both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical and business documentation for core banking applications, APIs, and system processes.Write and edit user guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), FAQs, and training materials tailored for different stakeholders, including business users and IT teams.Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and understandable content for non-technical users.Work closely with business analysts, product managers, developers, and QA teams to gather and validate information.Ensure that all documentation aligns with industry standards, compliance regulations, and internal policies .Maintain version control and document updates as system enhancements and changes occur.Create process flow diagrams, system architecture diagrams, and data flow documentation to enhance technical clarity.Collaborate with training teams to develop educational materials and workshops for end-users.Conduct research and stay updated on the latest core banking technologies and industry best practices .Requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a related field.3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, Business Analyst, or related role within the banking or financial services sector .Strong knowledge of core banking systems (e.g., Temenos, Finacle, FIS, Fiserv, or similar) .Excellent technical writing and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, MS Office, Visio, or Lucidchart .Experience with API documentation and system integration workflows .Understanding of banking regulations, compliance, and security requirements .Ability to work in an Agile environment , collaborating with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills .Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with business process modeling (BPMN) and UML diagrams.Familiarity with cloud-based banking solutions and fintech applications.Basic understanding of SQL, XML, JSON, or other database-related technologies .
