Tax Advisor (Cost Segregation & Real Estate Depreciation) | Remote

About the Role : We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Advisor with expertise in cost segregation and real estate depreciation to join a forward-thinking team modernizing tax strategy through AI and automation.

You’ll leverage your deep knowledge of IRS rules (MACRS, §179, bonus depreciation, Form 3115 filings) to help clients maximize cash flow—while collaborating with technologists to streamline processes.

Advise clients on depreciation strategies (e.g., 5 / 7 / 15-year assets, bonus depreciation, partial dispositions).

Prepare and review Form 3115 filings for accounting method changes.

Collaborate with engineers and AI developers to optimize tax reporting workflows.

Stay current on tax law changes (e.g., TCJA updates, energy incentives like §179D).

Qualifications :   CPA, EA, or on the job experience with 3+ years in real estate tax (cost segregation experience required).

Familiarity with cost segregation software (e.g., Cost Seg Cloud, SegrAnalytics) or willingness to learn.

Passion for technology / AI’s role in tax optimization (prior tech exposure a plus).
