We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Process Excellence Lead to act as a Global Process Owner for our core accounting cycles : Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R). This role is the strategic owner responsible for defining, standardizing, and continuously improving our global "golden processes." Operating within our Shared Services framework, you will move beyond day-to-day transactions to drive operational excellence, enhance control, and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost. The ideal candidate is a process-centric leader passionate about building robust, scalable financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
Global Process Design & Governance
- Act as the Global Process Owner for the end-to-end O2C, P2P, and R2R processes.
- Define, document, and maintain the global "golden process" standards, including policies, workflows, and key controls.
- Establish and govern global Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure process health and performance.
- Ensure global process adherence and serve as the ultimate point of escalation for process-related issues and exceptions.
- Proactively identify, prioritize, and lead initiatives to enhance process accuracy, reduce cycle times, lower costs, and improve the user experience (both internal and external).
- Champion the adoption of automation technologies (e.g., RPA, AI, workflow tools) to eliminate repetitive tasks and streamline operations.
- Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies to drive out waste and inefficiency, creating a culture of sustained improvement.
Operational Performance & Control
Monitor and analyze process KPIs and metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.Maintain a strong internal control environment within the O2C, P2P, and R2R cycles, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards (GAAP).Support internal and external audits by providing process walkthroughs and evidence of control effectiveness.Change Management & Influence Leadership
Lead process change initiatives, effectively communicating the "what" and "why" to stakeholders and operational teams to ensure smooth adoption.Provide expert guidance and training to Shared Services center teams on global process standards and procedures.Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Procurement, Commercial) to drive end-to-end process alignment and improvement.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. A Master's degree is a plus.5+ years of progressive experience in finance / accounting, with deep, end-to-end knowledge of O2C, P2P, and R2R cycles.3+ years in a process improvement, global process ownership, or Shared Services / GBS design / optimization role.Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing process improvements and automation solutions, with measurable results.High proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Experience in a Shared Services Center (SSC) or Global Business Services (GBS) environment is highly preferred.We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
