This is a remote position.

Schedule :   Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM EST

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated Vendor & Market Research Specialist to join our team on an ongoing, contract basis. This role is crucial to our operations, as you will be responsible for building a comprehensive database of vendors across various industries and cities in the United States.

This position requires a sharp researcher who can efficiently and accurately gather specific data points, primarily through online research. The ideal candidate will be methodical in their approach and committed to maintaining a high standard of data quality.

Key Responsibilities :

• Vendor Data Collection : Conduct targeted research to find and document vendors (e.g., catering, photography, venues) in specific cities across the U.S.
• Information Gathering : Systematically collect key data points for each vendor, including business name, contact information, average pricing / rates, and a brief description of their services.
• Data Entry & Management : Populate a shared spreadsheet or database with all collected information, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Project-Based Research : Fulfill specific research requests, such as "Find 10 catering companies, their average rates, and contact information in Seattle, Washington.
• Quality Assurance : Review and verify existing data to ensure it is up-to-date and accurate.
