We are looking for an experienced Drafter to produce detailed technical drawings and assist with estimating tasks, primarily within cabinetry or similar environments. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in drafting software and possess a foundational understanding of cabinetry construction principles. This role is critical for ensuring accurate, efficient design output that supports both production and estimating processes.
What You'll Do :
You'll be the kind of person who :
- Create and revise technical drawings, 2D plans, and 3D models based on project requirements and specifications
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and conceptual designs provided by engineering or design teams
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure drafted components align with design intent and project goals
- Support basic estimating functions by referencing drawings to identify materials, quantities, and preliminary cost data
- Maintain and manage a library of drafting files, documentation, templates, and drawing standards
- Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards
- Identify and flag technical challenges during drafting to assist in proactive resolution
- Contribute to process improvements and standardization in drafting and documentation efforts

What You Bring :
We're looking for someone who :
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineer, or a similar field is preferred3+ years of experience in drafting, preferably in cabinetry, furniture design, or related fieldProficiency in CAD software; experience with Mozaik software is a strong advantageAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specification documentsFamiliarity with basic estimating principles and ability to interpret drawings for quantity take-offStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skillsEffective communication and collaboration skills across teams and departmentsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentBenefits

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have : A minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting is required for the position. Preferably had experience in precast concrete industry. In-depth understanding of steels moulds and precast concrete Experienced in creating CAD drawings from quotes, architectural documents, hand sketches, verbal instructions, and site visits. Demonstrable experience with MS Office, cloud technology and digital solutions. Experience using Inventor Software and AutoCAD 2004 or greater. Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone system.
