Role Overview
The Brand & Partnerships Manager will play a key role in developing and managing Alta Sports’ brand ecosystem — building strategic partnerships, co-branded activations, and sponsorship programs that drive growth and engagement across our platform and communities.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with creative instincts, strong business acumen, and an eye for opportunities within the sports industry. You’ll operate at the intersection of brand, product, and partnerships — identifying synergies that elevate Alta Sports’ position as a cultural and commercial hub for sports communities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand & Partnership Strategy
Support the Senior Brand Director in designing and executing brand and partnership strategies that align with quarterly and annual objectives.
Research, identify, and engage no fewer than 1 new qualified brand or league prospects per month, ensuring a robust and consistent pipeline.
Build a quarterly partnership funnel with conversion targets (e.g., 30% pitch-to-meeting, 10% meeting-to-agreement).
Maintain and update a brand intelligence database — tracking trends, competitor partnerships, and category movement at least once per quarter.
2. Partnership Development & Management
Lead the full partnership cycle — from concept to pitch, negotiation, activation, and reporting — with a minimum of 1 new active collaborations per quarter.
Prepare and deliver custom proposals and sponsorship decks with quantified objectives (reach, engagement, ROI).
Oversee campaign execution with internal and external teams, ensuring 95% on-time delivery rate and alignment with brand standards.
Manage ongoing relationships with 10+ active partner stakeholders, nurturing long-term collaboration potential.
3. Product & Integration Thinking
Collaborate with Product and Content teams to conceptualize at least 1 in-app or gamified brand integration per quarter.
Track performance metrics (user participation rate, engagement lift, retention delta) and report insights monthly.
Leverage user and partner data to inform new partnership structures, recommending at least 2 new integration opportunities per quarter.
4. Brand Management & Governance
Maintain and enforce Alta Sports’ brand consistency across all partner materials and co-branded campaigns (zero brand guideline breaches).
Support brand architecture and messaging refreshes bi-annually, ensuring alignment with growth objectives.
Participate in quarterly creative reviews to evaluate partner brand integrations and messaging tone.
5. Analysis, Reporting & Optimization
Deliver monthly partnership and campaign performance reports with clear data visualization of KPIs.
Track campaign ROI, engagement metrics, and cost-per-engagement benchmarks to guide optimization.
Recommend improvements backed by data, ensuring at least 10% quarter-over-quarter improvement in campaign efficiency metrics (engagement rate, conversion rate, or retention uplift).
Maintain accurate CRM or partnership tracking dashboards with 100% data integrity.

Partnership Pipeline : 1+ new prospects engaged monthly
Signed Partnerships : Minimum of 1 new activation per quarter
Campaign Performance : ≥10% quarterly improvement in engagement metrics

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in brand management, partnerships, or marketing strategy — ideally within sports, entertainment, or digital ecosystems.
Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to interpret campaign or product data.
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills; experience pitching to senior brand managers or agencies.
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Data Studio).
Familiarity with sports culture, digital fan engagement, and brand marketing best practices.
Existing network in the sports, events, or lifestyle industries is highly advantageous.
