Business Development Manager

Full-Time | 40 Hours per week. Salary is open for discussion with HMO on the first day of engagement. Tuesday to Saturday, 12 : 00 AM - 8 : 00 AM Philippine Time.

About the Client : The client is a leading international brand, that integrates Chinese and German technology in its expansive operations across America, Asia, Europe, and Australia. Its 47,000 sqm manufacturing plant produces 15,000 elevator units, 5,000 escalator / moving walkway units, and 1,000 car lifts annually. With a dedicated team of 180 engineers and a labor force of 600, they prioritize quality, evident in their six individual shafts testing facilities and commitment to ISO 9001 and quality management systems.

About the Role : The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to spearhead growth initiatives, market penetration, and revenue enhancement for a leading international elevator solutions brand. This involves strategic planning, team leadership, effective negotiation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the company\'s expansion in its operational territories across America, Asia, Europe, and Australia.

Key Responsibilities and Timeline for Achievements :

  • First 2 Weeks : Orientation and understanding of the company\'s products, services, technological integration, and operational framework; initial meetings with sales and marketing teams; familiarization with CRM.
  • First Month : Set specific sales targets; conduct market analysis; develop a detailed business development strategy; begin outreach to potential clients.
  • First 90 Days : Generate and nurture leads; coordinate with CEO for high-level discussions; improve lead generation via targeted marketing; train new hires.
  • In 180 Days : Transition to closing deals independently; tailor solutions; mid-term strategy refinement; team training and performance evaluation; introduce innovative tactics.
  • In a Year’s Time : Demonstrate contribution to market reach and revenue; lead the team to exceed targets; promote continuous learning and improvement.
  • Screening Criteria :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, with a proven track record.
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience.
  • Experience in Engineering / Construction and elevator companies preferred.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (Salesforce preferred but not required).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities; industry awareness.
