Action Solar is seeking an organized and customer-focused Sales Support Specialist to assist our sales team in delivering a seamless and efficient solar sales experience. In this role, you will be a key liaison between sales representatives, and internal departments, ensuring that proposals, documentation, and communication flow smoothly. Requirements
Key Responsibilities :
Support the solar sales team by managing documentation and ensuring accurate data entry in CRM systems.
Act as a key point of contact for sales representatives during the pre-installation process, addressing questions and providing timely updates.
Collaborate closely with sales reps to review contracts and ensure all necessary information is collected for project hand off.
Coordinate with internal departments (design, permitting, and project management) to track the status of each sale and ensure smooth transitions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales reports, and pipeline data in CRM and sales tracking tools.
Assist in qualifying leads, scheduling site assessments, and gathering customer utility data and documentation.
Communicate clearly and professionally with sales reps and dealer organizations to provide a high-quality customer experience.
Qualifications & Skills :
Experience : 1-2 years of administrative, customer service, or sales support experience preferred; experience in solar, construction, or home services is a plus.
Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident interfacing with reps and internal teams.
Technical Skills : Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and basic Microsoft Office / Google Workspace tools.
Attention to Detail : Highly organized with strong data accuracy and follow-through.
Multitasking : Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Customer Focused : Committed to delivering a responsive and positive customer experience.
Team Player : Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to support cross-functional teams.
Bonus : Experience in solar proposal software (e.g., Aurora, Solo) or permitting systems is a plus.
