Business Operations Manager – Philippines (Remote)
Job Description : We are seeking experienced Business Operations Managers to help drive growth across multiple ventures, including consulting, publishing / travel content, and retail / ops leadership. This is a strategic, leadership-focused role with responsibilities across operations, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Roles are remote with schedules aligning to U.S. business hours where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cross-departmental operations (customer service, dispatch, logistics, back-office, sales, finance) to improve efficiency and alignment with company goals.
- Develop and implement SOPs, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to drive visibility and accountability.
- Identify bottlenecks, design process improvements, and lead projects with cross-functional teams, including executive stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and cost controls; oversee procurement and asset management where applicable.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for onsite and remote teams; support staffing, onboarding, and career development.
- Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute strategic initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure data privacy, compliance, and quality assurance across operations. Maintain standard practices across tools and platforms (CRM / ERP, project management, collaboration and productivity suites).
Key Qualifications
3–7+ years in operations leadership, preferably with exposure to one or more of : retail / branch operations, healthcare operations, BPO / back-office, or multi-venture startups.Strong track record in process improvement (Lean / Six Sigma exposure is a plus) and in using data to drive decisions.Experience managing remote teams and cross-functional collaboration across time zones.Proficiency with operational software and tools (CRM / ERP, project management, BI / dashboards), and advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail.Preferred Backgrounds
Experience in the copier / printer industry, hardware retail, e-commerce operations, or healthcare / diagnostic clinics with multi-site operations.ERP / CRM implementation or workflow automation experience.Familiarity with U.S.-based clients or customers and cross-border coordination.Compensation & Benefits
