Medical Coder (Work from home)

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and accurately code medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Ensure coding is in compliance with all applicable coding guidelines and regulations
• Abstract and enter patient information into electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and complete documentation
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any coding discrepancies or denials
• Stay up-to-date on coding changes and updates in the healthcare industry
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
