The Head of eCommerce will lead the company’s online business operations, driving growth and ensuring a seamless digital customer experience. This role will be responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of all eCommerce initiatives, including online sales, digital marketing integration, platform management, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company’s eCommerce strategy to achieve sales, profit, and growth targets.
Oversee daily operations of the online store, including product listings, promotions, pricing, and order fulfillment.
Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, supply chain, and IT teams to ensure alignment of eCommerce with overall business objectives.
Lead digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic, conversion, and customer retention.
Analyze sales performance, traffic data, and customer insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
Manage third-party eCommerce platforms and marketplace partnerships.
Ensure a secure, efficient, and customer-friendly website experience.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep the business competitive.
Build and lead a high-performing eCommerce team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Proven experience (at least 7–10 years) in eCommerce management, preferably in retail or consumer-focused industries.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing, analytics, and customer acquisition strategies.
Experience managing online platforms, marketplaces, and digital tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
