Summary : The Accounting Head provides strategic leadership and direction over the company’s overall accounting and financial reporting functions. This role ensures the integrity of financial information, drives process improvement, and supports business decisions through insightful financial analysis and compliance excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide strategic oversight of all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting, ensuring alignment with company goals and growth plans.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, systems, and internal controls that strengthen financial integrity, transparency, and compliance with local and international standards.
- Lead financial planning and analysis to provide management with actionable insights on business performance, cost efficiency, and profitability.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure tax strategy and compliance with all statutory requirements, optimizing tax efficiency while maintaining full regulatory adherence.
- Partner with executive leadership to evaluate financial risks, opportunities, and resource allocation for strategic initiatives and capital investments.
- Drive process automation and system enhancements (SAP / ERP) to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
- Lead audit and compliance efforts, coordinating with internal and external auditors, and ensuring readiness for audit requirements.
- Mentor and develop the accounting team, building a high-performing department focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Represent the accounting function in cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring financial discipline supports overall operational excellence.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger processes.Proficient in SAP or other ERP systems.In-depth understanding of Philippine Taxation, BIR compliance, and audit standards.Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.What We Offer :
