Occupational Dentist (Part-Time)

The Occupational Dentist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing oral health conditions that may affect an employee’s ability to perform safely and effectively at work. This role involves conducting dental fitness-for-duty examinations, managing work-related dental injuries, and providing guidance on preventive oral health programs tailored to specific workplace hazards.

Key Responsibilities and Clinical Care

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations for pre‑employment, periodic, and return‑to‑work evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage conditions such as bruxism, TMJ disorders, chemical erosion, and dental trauma related to occupational hazards.
• Provide acute care and treatment for workplace‑related dental injuries.
• Evaluate employees’ suitability for respirator masks, including oral and dental factors that may compromise seal integrity.
