Responsibilities

The Legal Counsel will provide legal support to the Philippine Region and Global Accounts, covering general corporate activities of assigned business units, including Philippine legal entities, foreign-owned entities, and franchisees. Responsibilities include :

• Advising on corporate and commercial law matters.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
• Managing regulatory compliance, particularly in food, retail, franchising, and labor.
• Supporting mergers and acquisitions and other commercial transactions.

Additional responsibilities include litigation management and dispute resolution (in coordination with external counsel), legal business partnering with internal functions, and engagement with regulatory agencies on government relations and permitting. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
