Job Description
- Lead the overall strategy and daily operations of a growing compliance center supporting global risk and regulatory functions.
- Manage a team of 50+ compliance professionals across various specializations including financial crime, conduct, and ethics.
- Drive the execution of global compliance initiatives, ensuring timely, standardized, and high-quality delivery of outsourced services.
- Collaborate closely with international stakeholders to enhance controls, processes, and reporting frameworks.
- Deliver strategic input on regulatory requirements and risk mitigation efforts, supporting group-wide compliance objectives.
- Oversee end-to-end service performance, business continuity planning, and regulatory readiness across supported jurisdictions.
- Build a strong talent pipeline through effective recruitment, coaching, and development of compliance professionals.
- Represent the hub in internal and external discussions, including engagements with global regulators when needed.
The Successful Applicant
- 8-10 years of compliance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in an international bank or financial institution
- Strong expertise in financial crime compliance, conduct risk, and global regulatory frameworks
- Proven track record in managing and developing high-performing, multi-functional compliance teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and regulators
- Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Experience in overseeing outsourced compliance services and driving process standardization
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment
- Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative leadership style
