Role Overview
This role is for an experienced and tech-savvy Content Specialist who can create high-quality content for a professional corporate audience. The ideal candidate has experience collaborating with US-based senior leaders, managing complex writing and research projects, and leveraging technology, including AI. The position supports company projects, client engagements, and marketing initiatives while maintaining strong communication and meeting deadlines. The candidate should be proficient in PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel, skilled in writing and design using tools like Canva and website platforms, and able to produce both long- and short-form business content. A proactive, versatile approach is key, and experience in book writing or editing is a plus.

iii. Direct support to company projects and client engagements by producing essential content deliverables for project proposals, presentation decks, case studies, and internal pitch materials.

v. You can take recordings of interviews and be able to create great and various forms of content from that inspiration.

Key Responsibilities 1. Diverse Content Creation and Writing Serve as a primary writer for a broad range of complex, high-stakes content that requires adapting tone and structure for different audiences, including but not limited to : i. Research and Insight Generation Demonstrate strong research skills to gather and synthesize information on complex business topics (e.g., corporate culture, industry trends, etc.) Serve as a resourceful research partner, independently conducting research and distilling findings into high-quality, actionable synopses, briefs, or outlines to support various project needs. 3. Technology and Creative Production Expertly leverage AI tools to significantly enhance content creation speed, quality assurance, and iteration workflows. Be eager to explore and implement new AI and Tech platforms that can streamline content production. Apply a creative eye and basic design sensibility to content : i. Selecting best imagery for various content needs (articles, presentation, social media). ii. Demonstrate basic graphic design knowledge (e.g., using Canva or similar tools) to create simple, effective visual assets. 4. Operational Discipline and Communication Share summaries of everyday work to keep team informed and up to date on daily progress. Communicate clearly what you are working on, and wait for approval (only if necessary) before starting new or unassigned tasks. Notify the team immediately if unable to work or need to step away unexpectedly (especially during shift hours) Follow agreed-upon work schedules consistently and confirm shift start / end times via designated communication channels. Use company-assigned tools, platforms, and processes as instructed for all work. Ensure tasks in progress are completed in a timely manner and do not sit idle or abandoned, seeking clarification when priorities conflict. Complete assigned revisions or updates efficiently, ideally within the same day unless otherwise agreed. Attend and confirm meetings by accepting calendar invites and showing up on time. Keep project management tools and shared folders fully up to date for easy tracking, collaboration, and accountability. Requirements Qualifications and Requirements Experience working on and with a team of US-based Senior Leaders Experience producing content for a professional, Corporate Large Company audience. Experience working not as just a freelancer team of 1 but as part of a larger team in a company working together. Schedule : full-time. Need to have at least 6 hours of overlap – based on US Eastern Time Zone - per day between 8am-6pm and the rest of your daily hours might be more flexible after an initial testing period. Able to fully focus and work full-time (40hrs / week), during scheduled hours. Schedule based mainly on US Eastern Time Zone. High communication with team. Ability to demonstrate work output every day to show progress on all you’re working on and keeping team up to date multiple times and interacting throughout the day during your daily hours shift. You will be in live meetings throughout the day. This is not an independent role where you work alone. You will need to be engaged and able to interact throughout your working hours. Strong, demonstrated experience as a Content Writer or Specialist, with a portfolio showcasing diverse, complex content formats. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency. Proven ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and ask focused questions rather than waiting for direction. Experience working full-time in a US Timezone (Eastern Time) corporate setting. Proven ability to manage your tasks, timelines, and all work through project management skills and high level of team communications. Asana and Slack experience. Amazing Powerpoint Skills. You can learn things fast and understand how to learn about something that you don’t know how to do yet. Proven ability to thrive in a consulting or project-based environment, with experience directly supporting client-facing teams through content and research.
