Job Description
This is a remote position.
Schedule : Part-time (15+ hours per week), Flexible within client business hours (Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm EST).

They handle complex financial operations including performance allocations to general partners and quarterly investor distributions. The company uses modern accounting systems and provides direct mentorship from experienced fund accounting professionals.
Responsibilities :
Maintain accurate accounting records in QuickBooks for multiple hedge funds.
Prepare monthly balance sheets and income statements for investment funds.
Process and allocate investor contributions and distributions according to fund agreements.
Calculate and record performance allocations to general partners based on fund profits.
Process quarterly and monthly expense charges across fund portfolios.
Handle accounting tasks during peak periods when banking information is received
Work under supervision of the in-house accounting manager to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support investor reporting and allocation processes for multiple fund entities.
Requirements :
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software.
Strong understanding of private investment structures and hedge fund operations.
Experience with balance sheet and income statement preparation.
Knowledge of investor allocation methodologies and performance fee calculations.
Ability to work independently while receiving supervision and guidance.
Strong attention to detail for handling sensitive financial information.
English proficiency for clear communication with management team.
