Overview
Accounting Head ( real estate company ) at Dempsey Resource Management, Quezon City. This role leads accounting operations for the organization and ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage accounting operations for the organization, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Oversee property management accounting processes and related financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures in accordance with applicable standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, taxation) to support business needs.
- Provide leadership to the accounting team, including performance management and development.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.Experience : Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role; proven experience in property management accounting is required.Technical Skills : Strong proficiency in accounting software for property management (e.g., Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, SAP); Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling); solid understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and tax regulations relevant to real estate.Soft Skills : Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; strong leadership and team management; exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Details
