The Paralegal provides essential support to the legal department by assisting in legal research, preparing and reviewing documents, ensuring proper filing of pleadings and contracts, and coordinating with external counsel and government agencies. The role ensures compliance with internal policies and assists in safeguarding the company’s legal interests.
Key Responsibilities :
- Draft, review, and proofread contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries, case notes, and memoranda.
- Assist in compliance with corporate governance requirements (SEC, PEZA, DOLE, etc.).
- Maintain and organize legal files, records, and databases.
- Coordinate with government offices, external counsel, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor deadlines for regulatory filings, permits, and licenses.
- Support in handling labor, corporate, or compliance-related issues.
- Prepare reports and assist in internal investigations when needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Political Science, or related field (Law graduate or taking up Law is a plus).At least 1–3 years of paralegal or legal support experience.Strong knowledge of corporate and labor laws (Philippine law preferred).Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills.High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.Discretion in handling confidential information.Benefits
