Head of Product, Global Payment Solutions – HSBC Philippines
Location : HSBC Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines
Role Description : We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Head of Product, Global Payment Solutions, HSBC Philippines.
Role Purpose
- Responsible for the profitability of all GPS products and services. This includes the planning, directing and organizing of GPS product management resources to ensure that they contribute to the overall objectives of GPS.
- Formulates product strategies for the assigned product line in alignment with the overall GPS strategy.
- Proactively supports the frontline RMs and Sales to co-pitch and co-solution structured and tailored value add to enhance customer needs.
- Bring forth a customer centric mindset in all areas of product management and servicing.
- Responsible for seeking partnership opportunities with market players to bring forth tailored solution to the clients whilst leading the market and supporting to position GPS PH as the front runner in the digitalization of the Philippines market.
- Lead the GPS product portfolio with strong risk awareness, ensuring solutions are commercially competitive while align HSBC group’s risk policies.
- Instill a sense of ownership within the product team and ensure that the product managers clearly understand their functions and responsibilities in achieving product success and profitability.
- Institutionalize a deliberate process within the product team to formulate product plans covering market segmentation, product positioning, competitive analysis, sales strategy, pricing strategy, and product development / enhancements plan. Provide clear direction, guidance and support to the product team on execution of the plan.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related fieldMinimum 10 years of Cash Management experience, preferably 6 years in the area of product managementPossesses project and people management experienceStrong knowledge of banking products and systemsEffectively manage and balance pressure from clients, internal stakeholders, and governance functions in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrate strong commercial discipline in managing budget challenges while delivering products / solutions to market within a reasonable time to market frameworkDemonstrated ability to interact, communicate, negotiate and convince effectively at all levels both internally and externallyHow to Apply / Additional Information
