The Marketing Department Head is responsible for directing the overall marketing strategy and operations to align with business goals. Provides leadership across campaigns, brand development, media strategy, and customer‑centric initiatives.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Set strategic direction for marketing, brand, and growth initiatives.
- Align marketing campaigns with customer insights and business targets.
- Lead product launch marketing and market expansion strategies.
- Lead annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting for the marketing unit.
- Handle executive‑level stakeholder communication and alignment.
- Collaborates with upper management and other departments to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with organizational goals.
Campaign and Channel Oversight
Oversee execution of digital, retail, and trade marketing efforts.Approve media and creative strategies including PR and agency partnerships.Spearhead CRM, marketing automation, and customer retention strategies.Monitor ROI, risk factors, and ensure cross‑functional collaboration.Team Leadership and Development
Manage team performance, mentorship, and succession planning.Drive performance measurement, continuous improvement, and innovation.Brand Stewardship and Communication Management
Oversee crisis communication protocols and internal brand advocacy.Ensure compliance with brand ethics, cultural sensitivity, and social listening practices.Data‑Driven Decision Making
Analyzes customer insights, market research, and sales data to inform marketing decisions and refine strategies.Leverages data analytics to measure campaign success, understand customer behavior, and identify new marketing opportunities.Uses insights from market and competitor analysis to continually enhance marketing efforts and ensure the company stays competitive.Other Duties

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
