General Manager - Ethical Pharma

Job descriptionAchieve annual sales, revenue, and profit targets for the product line. Work closely with the VP Sales and other senior leaders to align commercial plans. Directly oversee key client relationships and high-value accounts. Manage day-to-day operations of the distribution network for the assigned product line. Ensure inventory, logistics, and supply chain processes meet service level agreements. Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 70-80 employees across sales, marketing, and operations. Set clear performance objectives, KPIs, and accountability frameworks. Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring continuous training and professional development. Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical industry regulations and company policies. Maintain quality and safety standards in all distribution activities. Oversee risk management and compliance with all contractual and legal obligations. Bachelor's degree in Business, Pharmacy, or related field (Master's / MBA preferred). Minimum 12-15 years' experience in pharmaceutical sales, distribution, or commercial operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record in managing large teams and delivering strong P&L results. Strong understanding of the Philippine pharmaceutical market, distribution channels, and regulatory landscape. Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels of the organization Senior leadership role with full P&L accountability for a major product line in one of the country's top pharmaceutical distributors.
