Job Description
Position Overview :
We are seeking two accounting professionals to join our team, with a focus on supporting our clients with accounting services and contributing to the efficient operation of the firm. One position is for a Senior Accounting Specialist , and the other is for an Entry-Level Accounting Clerk .
Responsibilities : For both positions :
- Record entries in the general ledger for monthly accounting services clients.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Review the general ledger for accuracy and reasonableness.
- Review monthly financials and make necessary adjustments.
- Propose and create reclass entries as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients.
- Work with the tax team to identify expenses and transactions that might impact tax returns.
- Participate in team development and process improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients.
- Use research services to enhance technical knowledge and offer valuable services.
- Resolve issues using internal and external resources.
- Follow all firm policies and procedures.
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
