- ABOUT THE ROLE
- WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Troubleshoot and diagnose data flow issues from remote SCADA sites into the Power Factors Cloud
- Process data and support its validation; identify and resolve data entries that violates any criteria due to skip scan, new variables, and other data issues
- Validate System Alerts for our data collectors, subscribers, and active processes through our Azure Dashboards
- Gather additional information from the client or from our platform; update client as support tickets progress and communicate issue resolution
- Determine and dispatch internally to appropriate internal resources depending on support ticket details by facilitating a clean, clear handoffs of work responsibilities
- Serve as the face of Power Factors with our Customers
- WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics / Communication or Software Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical support role in the renewable industry or operations & maintenance (O&M)
- Knowledge of common industrial communications protocols like Modbus RTU / TCP, OPC DA / UA, DNP3
- Understanding of OSI Soft's PI system and SQL Database
- Knowledge in Salesforce as well as ticketing workflows
- Ability to interpret networking, data flows and electrical diagrams
- Positive attitude and emotional intelligence that allows for clear, honest, and candid communication with broad range of team members and stakeholders

To support our growth, we are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our Customer Success team with a background in data acquisition systems.
In this role, you will support our customers by resolving technical challenges involving platform issues, data flows, networking, communication failures and more.
You will be working remotely and reporting directly to the Manager, Helpdesk.
