We are seeking a detail-oriented and investigative Accounting & Investigations Associate to support client engagements involving financial review, asset recovery, and statutory compliance. This is a client-facing role that requires strong communication skills, financial acumen, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup. The role will primarily liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Liaise closely with clients, primarily Mandarin-speaking, to obtain and clarify company and financial information
Review and investigate company financial records, including bank statements, financial reports, and related documents
Assist in identifying, preserving, and recovering company assets
Support clients in the preparation and completion of statutory and regulatory forms
Prepare comprehensive reports for creditors and other stakeholders
Assist in the finalisation and closure of assigned matters in a timely and professional manner
Extroverted with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Naturally investigative, curious, and analytical in approach
Comfortable in a client-facing role and handling sensitive financial information
Able to think critically and “outside the box” when reviewing financial data
Female candidate
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a strong academic record
Good working knowledge of accounting principles
1–2 years of relevant experience in an office environment; auditing experience is highly preferred
1–2 years of accounting or audit background is suitable
Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Mandarin and English
Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism
Able to work remotely with minimal supervision and strong self-initiative
Excellent time management and task prioritization skills
