  • AEDT hours (8am–5pm or 10am–6pm, Mon–Fri).
  • About the Role

    We are seeking a Digital Marketing & Visual Designer (AI-focused) to join our hospitality group’s marketing team. The role is responsible for content creation (paid and organic), social media management, email marketing, SEO, website updates, reporting, budget tracking, media outreach support, and digital marketing across up to four venues.

    The successful candidate will strategically support digital marketing initiatives while executing day-to-day tasks, ensuring all outputs align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

    This role will also take the lead in leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows across the business—driving internal efficiency projects and developing innovative, customer-facing solutions. The position will play a key part in leading our AI transformation, ensuring automated, intelligent touchpoints enhance every stage of the customer journey.

    This is a hands-on role that requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset to manage multiple moving parts.

    As an external team member, you will work closely with the internal marketing team to lead both paid and organic marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Communication and task management will be coordinated via email, mobile, and project management tools (e.g., ClickUp).

    Key Responsibilities

    Creative Asset Development & Video / Photo Editing

  • Lead design and asset roll-out for digital campaigns and in-venue promotions.
  • Develop static and animated ad creatives for paid and organic media.
  • Trim and edit raw photos / videos for social media, ads, and collateral.
  • Ensure assets align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Apply branding elements, subtitles, and motion graphics.
  • Format videos for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Photography & Videography Coordination

  • Draft creative briefs for third-party creators.
  • Source and coordinate with photographers and videographers.
  • AI & Automation

  • Implement AI-driven automation for reporting, scheduling, and content creation.
  • Use AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs, Chatbase AI) for copywriting and visual design concepts.
  • Build and optimise AI-powered customer touchpoints (chat responses, personalised content).
  • Research, test, and recommend new AI tools to improve efficiency and creativity.
  • Document best practices and train team members on AI workflows.
  • EDM Creation & Email Marketing

  • Design and manage engaging email campaigns.
  • Create visually appealing EDM templates aligned with brand tone.
  • Manage sends via platforms like SevenRooms or similar.
  • Track and report email performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions).
  • Website Updates

  • Maintain and update website campaign content.
  • Ensure banners, landing pages, and promotions align with current campaigns.
  • Upload and format images, graphics, and copy for visual consistency.
  • Coordinate with web and internal teams for updates.
  • Organic Social Media Management

  • Schedule and publish organic posts across platforms.
  • Monitor engagement and suggest improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align visuals and messaging.
  • Support community management activities.
  • Media Outreach Assistance

  • Maintain and update media contact lists.
  • Send updates to media partners and influencers.
  • Track outreach responses and report to the team.
  • Assist with coordinating press and media collaborations.
  • Events & Partnerships

  • Support logistics and content creation for venue activations and partnerships.
  • Source collateral and assets for activations and events.
  • Coordinate social media posting and reporting for partner activities.
  • Assist with event wrap-up reports and data collection.
  • Budget Tracking & Campaign Reporting

  • Maintain budget tracking sheets and align spending with goals.
  • Compile and analyse performance reports on campaign metrics (ROI, engagement, conversions).
  • Provide insights and data summaries for the Head of Marketing.
  • Extract data from digital platforms (Meta, Google Ads, EDM tools) for reports.
  • Populate reporting templates for internal and partner use.
  • Printing Coordination

  • Coordinate production and delivery of printed materials.
  • Oversee printing schedules and file management for events and menus.
  • Coordination with In-Venue Teams

  • Liaise with venue staff to gather creative assets.
  • Ensure timely content delivery and quality standards.
  • Guide venue teams on visual production quality.
  • Internal marketing training as needed.
  • App Management

  • Manage loyalty and marketing content on customer-facing platforms.
  • Schedule and review content via LOKE App.
  • Report on user engagement and support maintenance documentation for app platforms.
  • General Administration

  • Create and format presentations, training materials, and report templates.
  • Ensure all visual documents meet brand standards.
  • Manage daily marketing support requests via email.
  • Coordinate logistics and communication with venue teams.
  • Key Skills & Requirements

  • Non-Negotiables – What You Must Bring
  • 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing, graphic design, or advertising.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Bridge, Firefly).
  • Advanced proficiency in WordPress Elementor for website content creation.
  • Advanced proficiency in CapCut and Artlist (or similar royalty-free music platforms).
  • Strong knowledge of social media strategy, paid ad platforms, and analytics.
  • Experience managing budgets, reporting, and digital performance metrics.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
