This is a remote position.
Schedule : Mon-Fri, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM EST with 1 hour unpaid break, 40 hours / week
Job Overview : This role ensures sitter coverage, manages sitter onboarding and vetting, and helps maintain a thriving network of active, professional caregivers. You’ll be responsible for interviewing and vetting sitters, maintaining up-to-date profiles, and matching families with the perfect caregiver — all while supporting our mission of warmth, reliability, and excellence in childcare.
Key Responsibilities
Sitter Recruitment & Vetting
- Source, interview, and vet new sitter candidates.
- Conduct reference checks and coordinate background verifications.
- Walk sitters through every step of the onboarding process until they’re fully active.
- Ensure sitters meet company standards for professionalism, communication, and childcare experience.
- Sitter Activation & Profile Management
- Maintain sitter profiles, photos, bios, and availability in our system.
- Monitor sitter statuses (“active,” “pending,” “inactive”) and update weekly.
- Communicate with sitters regularly to ensure schedule accuracy.
Booking & Fulfillment
Review daily family booking requests and ensure sitter coverage within 24–48 hours.Match sitters to families based on needs, preferences, and location.Confirm bookings and handle last-minute changes with professionalism and urgency.Follow up after each booking to ensure family satisfaction.Growth & Community Engagement
Support sitter and family recruitment through Facebook groups, schools, and community networks.Represent our agency online with warmth and professionalism to build awareness and trust.Identify areas where sitter supply or demand needs attention and assist with outreach campaigns.Reporting & Collaboration
Maintain accurate weekly reports (new sitters, active sitters, filled bookings).Work closely with the Profile Manager to ensure seamless hand-offs between sitter and long-term placements.Collaborate with leadership on ways to improve sitter engagement and client experience.Requirements
Requirements
Extensive experience in recruiting, preferably in household staffing or luxury service industriesStrong emotional intelligence and ability to assess candidates beyond their resumesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with high-end clienteleProven track record of successful placements in domestic or related fieldsProficiency in applicant tracking systems, specifically Engine HireAbility to maintain the highest level of discretion and handle sensitive informationUnderstanding of the unique needs and expectations of high-net-worth individuals and familiesAdaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectivelyBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field preferredBenefits
