DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepares financial statements for two companies in the US.
- Prepares financial analysis and financial ratios for different business segments.
- Assist in the monthly hard-close to ensure all events are recorded correctly by preparing balance
sheet and expense schedules that are in balance to the General Ledger, for partners, internal
reviews, and external auditors.
Create and design reporting workpapers for financial information and / or accounting calculationsaccording to the user’s needs.
Apply working knowledge of accounting and finance principles to perform, review, or audit avariety of journal entries, account analyses, workpapers, and reconciliations.
Reconcile inter-company accounts.Lease accounting under US-GAAP ASC-842.Fixed Assets management and depreciation.Manage collections from customers and schedule payments for a few suppliers.Prepares financial analysis of financial statements by company, by product, by territory, etc.Prepares and keep up to date all processes and procedures of the financial area.Researching authoritative literature for proper treatment of accounting topics.Participate in bilingual meetings with different people.Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS :

A. Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting from four-year college or university; and at least fiveyears related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
Knowledge of integrated computerized accounting systems experience required(Epicor, NetSuite, SAP).
Consolidation Accounting and FSAB knowledge required. Audit knowledge preferred.Experience in the consumer products industry preferred.Fixed assets and Leases accounting knowledge.B. Language Ability :
English required / Spanish preferred.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professionaljournals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups ofmanagers, clients, customers.
C. Computer and Other Skills :
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Email.D. Mathematical Ability :
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions,proportions, percentages.
Ability to apply concepts of accounting.E. Reasoning Ability :
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables insituations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, orschedule form.
