A delivery helper assists a delivery driver with various tasks to ensure safe, accurate, and timely delivery of goods to customers, including loading and unloading items, navigating routes, providing customer service, handling payments and paperwork, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and its contents.
Key Responsibilities
Loading and Unloading : Safely and efficiently load and unload products from the delivery vehicle.
Delivery Assistance : Assist the driver in navigating to delivery locations.
Customer Service : Interact courteously with customers, answer questions, and resolve any complaints.
Order Accuracy : Verify that the correct items are delivered to the correct customer and that orders are complete and accurate.
Payment and Paperwork : Obtain signatures for deliveries and collect payments from customers, handling related documentation.
Vehicle Maintenance : Ensure the delivery vehicle remains clean, organized, and in good condition.
Safety Compliance : Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Communication : Liaise with the main office or warehouse logistics team to report problems and notify the driver of any route changes.

Physical Stamina : Ability to lift heavy objects and perform other physical labor.
Communication Skills : Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
