Responsible for ensuring proper management and supervision of the base operation and overseeing efficient management of the resources in coordination with Country Director and support teams in Manila. The role will promote and implement policies and guidelines of Action Against Hunger and donors, ensuring safety and security of the base team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, implement, manage, supervise, and monitor programs / projects, ensuring Action Against Hunger's and donors' technical policies and guidelines are implemented.
- Represent, participate, and coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and partners.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government authorities, international and local organizations, and beneficiaries.
- Lead project implementation, ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance with donor guidelines.
- Manage human resources, including performance evaluations, recruitment, and training, following Action Against Hunger's HR policies.
- Oversee administrative and financial aspects, including budgeting, procurement, and logistics, in collaboration with the Base Administrator and Logistics department.
- Ensure staff safety and security, adhering to Action Against Hunger's safety and security protocols and policies.
Requirements :
Master's degree in Economics, Sociology, International Development, Political Science, or International Relations.Knowledge of project management, financial management, logistics, and security management.Ability to write technical donor reports and proposals in English.Experience in managing projects with an INGO, including administration, finance, logistics, HR, and security.Excellent English and Filipino speaking and writing skills required, with knowledge of local language an advantage.Good knowledge of Office package (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Action against Hunger is committed to preventing any type of unwanted behaviour at work, such as sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, and abuse, lack of integrity, and / or financial misconduct.
