Work Schedule : 6 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM (AUS Client)

We are looking for a motivated, positive and keen to detail Accounting Assistant who will be doing data entry and document prepping role to support the accounts team.
Responsibilities :
- Entry of all accounts payable invoices into the system
- Checking of coding for accounts receivable.
- Set up all payments in the bank and compile supporting documents.
- Payroll preparation
- Correspondence with managers to follow up and get updates on debtors.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.At least 1 year Accounting or Data Entry experienceExperience with Xero and / or MYOB highly preferred.Someone who is organized, bubbly, energetic personality and easy to communicate with.Excellent English skills - Written and VerbalPreferably with experience in XeroBasic Knowledge of ExcelStrong sense of professionalism and organization with a high degree of attention to detail.Benefits

Minimum of 5 years Australian accounting and taxation experience Xero / MYOB Certified Experience in the preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts Experience working with Australian SMEs Competent with computer operations as well as some specific applications, such as Xero, MYOB, Microsoft Word, Excel, outlook. Experience with relevant computer systems The person must be keen to learn and develop their computer competencies Particularly good in verbal and written English communication skills
