JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead and grow the travel insurance business in the Philippines. This role will focus on driving sales growth across multiple channels, with a strong emphasis on strategic partnerships with e-wallets, banks, airlines, travel agencies, and OTAs.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in travel insurance or financial services, strong industry networks, and the ability to design and execute high-impact growth strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute growth strategies to expand travel insurance sales across B2B, B2B2C, and direct channels.
Identify, negotiate, and onboard key partnerships with e-wallets, banks, airlines, and other distribution partners.
Drive revenue growth by optimizing existing partnerships and exploring new business opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to design high-converting campaigns and promotions.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the travel and insurance sectors.
Monitor KPIs such as sales performance, conversion rates, and partner ROI to ensure optimal results.
Ensure compliance with local insurance regulations and partner requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in insurance sales, business development, or partnerships, preferably in travel insurance.
Strong network within the Philippine insurance, financial services, or travel industries (banks, e-wallets, airlines, OTAs).
Proven ability to drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and multi-channel distribution.
Data-driven mindset with experience in performance tracking and sales analytics.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with digital insurance platforms and embedded insurance models is a plus.
