About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Ledger Supervisor to oversee GL operations for South East Asia (SEA) countries. The role ensures timely, accurate, and seamless support for end-to-end general ledger activities, including journals, adjustments, profitability analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and experience in finance operations within a global shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee monthly financial closing activities and maintain accurate accounting records for SEA countries.
• Review work from RTR Analysts, including journal entries, P&L analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders to ensure accruals are justified and properly posted.
• Perform trend analysis and respond to corporate or regional queries regarding financial performance.
• Monitor clearance of aged balance sheet items and research complex discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly management reports, quarterly reports, and yearly statutory accounts.
• Support, coach, and provide guidance to staff while promoting continuous process improvements.
• Participate in IT projects for system changes or enhancements as needed.
• Ensure backup plans for team members are in place and provide task support when required.
