The Compensation & Benefits Manager oversees the accurate and timely processing of payroll and the administration of employee benefits programs. This role ensures compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies, while also serving as a key liaison between employees, management, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage end-to-end payroll processing (bi-weekly / monthly), including salaries, deductions, garnishments, and taxes
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll lawsResolve payroll discrepancies and maintain accurate recordsPrepare payroll reports for internal and external auditsBenefit & Renumeration Strategy DevelopmentStay updated on labor laws and tax regulations
Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits dataEnsure data privacy and integrity in HRIS and payroll systemsPrepare reports for finance, HR, and regulatory bodiesSalary & Compensation BenchmarkingDevelop and manage salary structures, pay grades, and incentive plans
Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveysRecommend salary adjustments based on performance, market trends, and internal equityGovernment Mandated Compliance and GovernanceEnsure all compensation and benefits programs comply with labor laws and regulations
Maintain documentation and audit trails for regulatory reviewsVendor Billing ManagementReview and validate billing statements from 3rd party service providers
Reconcile billed hours, rates, and contract terms against actual deploymentCoordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely paymentsMaintain vendor billing tracker and support audit requirementsCollaborate with Recruitment and RTM Centre for contract compliance and cost controlReporting and AnalyticsPrepare budgets, forecasts, and reports for leadership

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Certified in Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) , Certified Compensation and Benefits Professional (CCBP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) is highly preferred10 years of progressive experience in payroll, benefits administration, or billing managementExperience managing manpower vendor billing , including reconciliation and contract complianceProven track record in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., SAP, ADP, QuickBooks)Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)Familiarity with payroll software , benefits platforms, and billing systemsStrong understanding of labor laws , tax regulations, and data privacy standardsHigh attention to detail and analytical thinkingStrong communication and negotiation skills for vendor coordinationAbility to manage confidential data with integrityExcellent problem-solving and time management abilitiesAmenable to work on site (Monday to Friday & 9am to 6pm).Amenable to report in Marikina and eventually in Eastwood by 2026 .
