About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support the companys business growth efforts. This role focuses on outbound cold calling and appointment setting with vendors who produce scrap metal. The SDR will play a key role in identifying potential business opportunities and building strong relationships with prospects.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct high-volume outbound calls to potential vendors and partners.
Identify and qualify business opportunities for recycling services.
Set appointments for follow-up calls or meetings with the sales team.
Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and outcomes in CRM tools.
Provide regular feedback and insights from conversations to improve outreach strategies.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales, cold calling, or lead generation (B2B preferred).
Strong persuasion and communication skills.
Minimal to neutral accent and clear spoken English.
Tech-savvy and comfortable working with CRM or dialing tools.
Mac computer is a plus, but not required.
Self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven.
