Job Description
As the Head of HR, you will oversee strategic and operational HR functions including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and organizational development. You will play a key role in shaping a values-driven culture, aligning HR initiatives with business goals, and supporting the growth of a diverse and empowered workforce.
You'll be managing a lean HR team while supporting a growing headcount across retail and corporate functions. Your background in policy development, compliance, and HR systems implementation will be critical in scaling operations efficiently. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a passion for people development.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven ability to lead strategic HR initiatives across multi-site operations
- Strong background in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession management in retail
- Skilled in designing and implementing compensation, benefits, and rewards programs
- Experience in building and sustaining employee engagement and culture transformation
- Proficient in HRIS implementation, payroll administration, and process optimization
- Deep understanding of labor law compliance and policy development
- Capable of managing grievance handling and employee relations with fairness and integrity
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with lean teams
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use HR metrics for decision-making
