Job Purpose
The Process Expert is responsible for providing advanced operational and customer data analysis support to drive efficiency and performance excellence across the organization. This role delivers actionable insights, identifies process improvement opportunities, and implements effective solutions to optimize operations and enhance customer experience.
The Process Expert also leads the design, documentation, and execution of continuous improvement initiatives. These initiatives ensure timely and accurate visibility of the company’s freight and management reports, empowering both internal teams and customers to make informed business decisions.
This position reports to the Manager, Data Analytics Process Design.
Roles & Responsibilities
Process Improvement and Data Analytics
- Conduct in-depth analysis of operational processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and document standardized procedures in collaboration with leadership and process owners.
- Ensure new processes are efficiently integrated and aligned with existing workflows.
- Partner with operations, account management, and customer service teams to gather, validate, and translate operational requirements into clear process documentation.
- Perform data-driven research and provide analytical insights to resolve complex operational issues.
- Develop and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations for key stakeholders and senior management.
- Design and enhance analytics tools to bridge reporting gaps and improve decision-making accuracy.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and recommend optimization actions.
- Provide regular updates and insights on project progress, risks, and performance outcomes.
Collaboration and Change Enablement
Collaborate closely with internal operations and customer teams to align project goals with business needs.Facilitate regular communication and coordination meetings with stakeholders to ensure project transparency and engagement.Promote cross-functional collaboration and establish efficient communication channels for effective implementation.Conduct training and provide support to ensure successful adoption of new or improved processes.Lead change management activities to ensure smooth transition and sustainability of implemented solutions.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher; a major in Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership.Quick learner with proven ability to adapt to evolving business and operational requirements.Requirements
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and other MS Office applications.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to conduct quality assurance and validate data accuracy independently.Experience in freight forwarding, consolidation, or logistics industry is preferred.
