About the role
The Senior Business Development Manager – Facilities Management (FM) is responsible for driving the growth in the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) space by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities. This role requires a deep understanding of the facilities management industry, client relationship management, and strategic sales planning to expand Sodexo’s portfolio across key sectors such as corporate offices, industrial sites, healthcare, and retail.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to clients, aligning Sodexo’s solutions with their operational needs while ensuring business profitability and sustainable growth.
What you'll be doing
1. Business Development & Growth
Lead end-to-end business development efforts for Facilities Management solutions — from prospecting, client engagement, and proposal development to contract negotiation and closure.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth and revenue targets.
Identify new market opportunities, potential clients, and industry trends to support business expansion.
Build a robust pipeline of FM prospects through networking, referrals, and participation in industry events.
2. Client Relationship Management
Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
Conduct consultative discussions to understand client needs and tailor Sodexo’s IFM solutions accordingly.
Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless transition from proposal to operations.
3. Commercial & Contract Management
Lead bid strategy formulation, pricing reviews, and commercial negotiations in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, HR, Legal).
Ensure all proposals meet Sodexo’s profitability, compliance, and risk management standards.
