What are we looking for?
Skills Required :
- A bachelor’s degree in law and membership in the Philippine Bar in good standing is required.
- Strong understanding of the legal complexities surrounding offshore operations, employee relations, and cross-border legal issues.
- Extensive experience in corporate law, labor relations, and regulatory compliance, particularly in BPO and offshore staffing sectors.
- 10+ years of experience in a law firm or as an in-house corporate lawyer, with specific experience in BPO, offshore staffing, or similar industries.
- Strong negotiation skills, particularly in handling contracts, indemnity clauses, and service level agreements.
What will you do?
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly those related to offshore staffing and BPO operations.Provide expert legal guidance on labor relations, employment contracts, non-compete enforcement, and dispute resolution in the context of offshore staffing.Work closely with HR and management to create, implement, and enforce policies and procedures that minimize legal risks and maintain regulatory compliance.Represent the company in legal proceedings, collaborating with external counsel, regulatory bodies, and public authorities as needed.Prepare, review, and file legal documents such as corporate filings, government reports, and contract agreements.Review and negotiate contracts, including service level agreements (SLAs) with clients and vendors, ensuring compliance with BPO and offshore staffing regulations.Stay current on industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes that may impact the company’s operations.Proactively advise management on any potential legal risks arising from new laws or policies.Join the awesome team and enjoy these benefits & perks :
