Key Responsibilities :
Sales & Business Growth :
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets through effective business development strategies.
- Identify and develop new clients, projects, and partnerships in industries such as, but not limited to, manufacturing, power, utilities, oil & gas, and transportation.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and emerging technologies that can drive sales growth.
Client & Partner Management :
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including plant managers, engineers, and procurement officers.Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and consultations to showcase the value of automation solutions.Work closely with system integrators, technology partners, and OEMs to deliver comprehensive solutions.Proposal & Contract Negotiation :
Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals tailored to client needs.Lead contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with company profitability goals.Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, product management, finance) to finalize deals.Strategic Planning & Reporting :
Develop and execute business development plans to achieve short-term and long-term goals.Track and report sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to management.Identify opportunities for new product introductions and service offerings.Qualifications & Skills :
Required :
Has experience with water / wastewater sectorsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.3+ years of sales or business development experience in industrial automation, process control, or manufacturing technology.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Strong understanding of SCADA, PLCs, MES, IIoT, and industrial networking.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.Preferred :
Experience working with major industrial automation brands (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, ABB, etc.).Familiarity with tendering, bidding, and contract management in the industrial sector.Existing network of contacts in manufacturing, utilities, or related industries.
