Requirements :
At least 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
Formal culinary or pastry training preferred
Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
Creativity and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Portfolio of previous pastry work is a plus
Responsibilities :
Design and create a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
Develop and test new recipes and seasonal menu items
Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards
Manage inventory and order baking supplies as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen
Train and supervise junior pastry staff
Coordinate with other kitchen departments for service timing
Monitor food safety and hygiene standards
Adapt recipes for dietary restrictions and customer preferences
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques
