Position Overview : The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for overseeing the financial health, strategy, and sustainability of the organization. This role provides strategic direction on all financial matters, ensuring strong fiscal management, risk mitigation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
The CFO leads the finance, accounting, and reporting functions, while serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors. The position is responsible for developing long-term financial strategies, managing capital and cash flow, and ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support growth and operational excellence.
Beyond technical expertise, the CFO plays a critical role in shaping business strategy, fostering stakeholder confidence, and driving value creation. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to the executive team.
- Manage the annual budgeting process and monitor performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with tax, audit, and legal requirements.
- Partner with business leaders to align financial strategies with company goals and drive operational efficiency.
- Oversee cash flow management, investment strategies, and capital structure planning.
- Build and maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Job Qualifications
Education & Credentials :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related discipline preferred.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is an advantage.Experience :
Minimum of 10–15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.Proven track record in corporate financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.Experience managing financial operations in a complex or high-growth organization.Strong background in risk management, compliance, and regulatory reporting.Demonstrated success in strategic financial leadership, capital management, and driving business performance.Exceptional knowledge of corporate financial law, accounting principles, and financial best practices.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to translate financial data into strategic business insights.Excellent leadership and team management abilities.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both financial and non-financial stakeholders.High level of integrity, ethics, and professional judgment.Additional Requirements :
