Role Overview
As a key manager in the International SOS Philippines management team, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the overall smooth functioning of the Finance & Accounting and IT departments. This is a strategic and hands‑on leadership role, partnering closely with the General Manager and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and complete monthly and quarterly reporting for both regional and local management requirements.
- Manage working capital, including cash, CIT, collections, AR, AP, and WIP, to drive improvement in key KPIs.
- Oversee tax, audit, banking, and statutory matters.
- Maintain financial control and compliance with GAPP and Group policies and standards.
- Manage General & Administrative expenditure in line with targets and KPIs, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Prepare annual budgets within schedule.
- Advise management on new projects and CAPEX investments, including automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee the billing function and ensure timely weekly reporting.
- Lead IT projects and infrastructure management.
- Build a high‑performing Finance and IT team through effective recruitment, development, and performance management.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial information and reports for statutory and management purposes.
- Manage statutory audits, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting for International SOS entities (IAP, NSP) in the Philippines, including offshore transactions.
- Provide business analysis, including profitability, expense, and activity analysis, and support financial modeling for business development.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Continuously review and improve work processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Lead or implement new projects as needed.
