Responsibilities
- Develop KONE’s position and customer base in the market.
- Drive proactive engagement and solution selling with different customer segments.
- Ensure development of customer relationships, profitability, loyalty and satisfaction.
- Approve and follow up customer plans for strategic core customers.
- Select and appoint team members to manage strategic customers.
- Identify and build relationships with key decision makers, potential targets, and influencers.
- Promote and demonstrate the value of KONE digital offerings.
- Prepare Regional and Individual Sales Plans (ISPs) for the team.
- Participate in market and customer analysis to ensure quality of sales planning.
- Manage pricing and offer management to drive market pricing and profitability.
- Balance order growth and profitability by managing discounts.
- Gather competitive and market information from the field.
- Identify opportunities for cross‑selling all KONE solutions.
- Lead the sell process, ensuring CRM data quality, opportunity management, and reporting.
- Ensure results within orders, contracts, profitability, and market price development.
- Set sales targets per market potential and unit guidelines.
- Provide direction and focus on the right customers through analysis.
- Ensure the correct value propositions by the team.
- Drive short‑ and long‑term sales results.
- Execute and advise pricing guidelines for the area.
- Approve tenders and orders above salesperson limits.
- Utilize global processes and tools for local benefit.
- Lead the sales team to be proactive, use KONE methodology, and communicate value.
- Coach team members to improve results via one‑to‑one dialogues.
- Manage team performance and ensure adequate resources.
- Develop competence of the sales team.
- Motivate and inspire high performance.
- Ensure a great onboarding experience for new employees.
- Plan succession for the team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, engineering, or related field.Experience and understanding of B2B sales.Experience in sales or sales management.Minimum 8 years of people leadership and management.Basic digital skills and mindset.Sales acumen : understands selling cycle, purchasing strategies, negotiation, reporting, and funnel management.Understanding of business planning, controlling, and change management.Demonstrated service mindset.Digital assertiveness : comfortable with digital solutions.Comfortable with numbers, using data to drive performance and pricing strategy.Strong customer relationship management.Benefits
