Service Engineer - Medical Devices

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to support histopathology medical devices and laboratory equipment. The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance, and repair of instruments such as tissue processors, embedding centers, microtomes, cryostats, and staining systems. This role ensures reliable equipment performance in clinical and research laboratories while delivering excellent technical support and training to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning : Deliver, install, and configure histopathology equipment at client sites, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Preventive Maintenance : Conduct scheduled servicing and performance verification to maximize uptime and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs : Diagnose technical issues, perform on-site repairs, or escalate to manufacturers as necessary.
• Calibration & Quality Assurance : Ensure instruments meet regulatory and quality standards for clinical diagnostics.
• Technical Support : Provide prompt assistance to clients regarding equipment usage, care, and basic troubleshooting.
• Documentation & Reporting : Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance records, and regulatory compliance documentation.
• Customer Training : Conduct user training sessions for laboratory staff on proper operation and safety of equipment.
• Collaboration : Work closely with sales and applications teams to address client requirements and support product demonstrations.
• Spare Parts & Inventory : Manage spare parts needed for servicing and repairs.
• Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements for medical devices and laboratory environments.
