Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, the Manager of Business Development, Global is responsible for providing tactical and strategic leadership to the Business Development team while recruiting and developing talent as the team expands to meet aggressive growth goals.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Enable team of hybrid BDRs to exceed quarterly and annual new business pipeline generation targets for our team of Enterprise Account Executives.
- Expand a team of Business Development Reps using our foundational Business Development team plan.
- Supporting Business Development Reps through on-boarding, ramp up and on-going coaching and development to ensure a consistent attainment of goals across the team.
- A solid understanding of Cofense’s technology stack to support the BDR team with lead follow up and pro-active outreach.
- Conducting weekly 1 : 1 review meetings and hold daily team ‘huddles’ to share best practice.
- Coach direct reports regarding strategies to increase conversion rates across the board to ultimately create more pipeline.
- Build strong working relationships with Marketing, Regional Sales Directors, Sales Operations, Recruitment and HR teams and become a valued member of our Leadership Team.
- Attend weekly Sales Team meetings to maintain alignment with the Field Sales team.
- Consistently monitor the team’s performance against key KPIs and drive the team forward to exceed expectations.
- Be vocal in bringing suggestions to facilitate new processes, tools, communications, training, and methodologies to ensure the on-going evolution of the Americas team.
- Occasional travel, as well as the ability to represent our company at events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Degree level or experience equivalent.4+ years’ experience running Business Development or Inside Sales teams.2+ years’ experience as a BDR Rep in software industry.2+ years’ experience as an Inside Sales Rep in Software industry advantageous.Experience in Cyber Security advantageous.PC and various software applications experience (SFDC, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Linkedin Sales Nav).
