VP – Information Technology (Hotel Industry)

Location : Onsite, Alabang

About the Role

This is a newly created leadership position dedicated to the hotel business (previously shared with holdings). The Vice President for IT will be responsible for shaping and driving the company’s overall technology strategy, aligning systems with business goals, and elevating hospitality technology capabilities. The role reports directly to the President.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Align IT with business goals and ensure technology initiatives support overall strategy.

Lead digital transformation initiatives, including frictionless / contactless guest technologies, AI-driven personalization, and business analytics.

Champion innovation by evaluating and piloting emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, smart room tech).

IT Governance and Compliance

Establish IT policies, data security protocols, and SOPs across hotels and corporate offices.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., Data Privacy Act, PCI DSS).

Infrastructure and Systems Oversight

Oversee selection, deployment, and maintenance of hotel systems.

Ensure high network availability and reliable internet connectivity.

Provide cybersecurity oversight.

Vendor and Partner Management

Evaluate and recommend vendors for hardware, software, and services.

Negotiate and enforce service-level agreements with providers.

Financial Planning

Plan and control the IT budget across hotels and corporate offices.

Implement cost-effective technologies.

Data and Analytics

Drive implementation of analytics platforms for operational KPIs, guest behavior, and business intelligence.

Enable seamless data flow and integration across systems.

Leadership and Team Building

Build and lead IT teams at both corporate and property levels.

Develop talent and upskill teams on emerging technologies.

Qualifications

Proven track record in IT leadership, ideally within the hospitality industry or customer-centric sectors.

Strong background in digital transformation and enterprise technology management.

Familiarity with hotel management systems, guest experience technologies, and enterprise analytics.

Excellent leadership, vendor management, and financial planning skills.

Knowledge of cybersecurity, IT governance, and regulatory compliance.
