The Role
We're seeking a strategic and results-driven CX Social Media Team Lead to join our Communications team and help amplify our voice across earned and owned media channels. Reporting directly to the Director of Communications, you'll lead a team of four in executing high-impact media campaigns, building relationships with top-tier journalists, and positioning our brands as authoritative voices in the platform economy, secure transactions, and logistics sectors.

Earned Media & Strategic Communications
- Develop and execute earned media campaigns across Freelancer, Escrow.com , and Loadshift
- Monitor news cycles for newsjacking opportunities and execute rapid-response media pitches
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, particularly in US markets
- Position company executives and subject matter experts for media commentary
- Track media coverage and measure campaign effectiveness
Journalist Relations & Content Development
Proactively pitch stories to tier 1, 2, and 3 media outletsRespond to media inquiries and coordinate spokesperson interviewsSource and develop compelling US and UK customer case studiesCoordinate expert commentary on industry trends and platform economy insightsAwards & Industry Recognition

Experience & Skills
