Job Summary
The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and orchestrating all operational functions within the company, ensuring seamless collaboration between departments to drive efficiency, productivity, and strategic growth. This role demands a highly organized and results‑driven leader with deep experience in IT operations, project management, and cross‑functional coordination. The Operations Head will work closely with executives, department heads, and stakeholders to align operations with business goals and optimize processes for scalability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s vision, mission, and business objectives.
- Act as the orchestrator between all departments, ensuring cohesive collaboration and synergy across teams.
- Drive operational excellence by establishing best practices, KPIs, and performance metrics to measure efficiency.
- Identify and implement automation and process improvements to enhance productivity and cost‑effectiveness.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Foster strong partnerships between IT, HR, Finance, Sales, and other departments to enhance interdepartmental communication and workflow.Ensure that project management and resource allocation align with the company’s strategic priorities.Work closely with the IT department to ensure seamless infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and technology adoption.Collaborate with the HR team to drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee engagement.Support the Finance department in budgeting, cost management, and financial forecasting.Partner with the Sales and Marketing teams to optimize operational support for business growth.Process Improvement & Efficiency
Analyze current workflows and identify areas for process optimization.Implement scalable systems, tools, and frameworks to enhance operational efficiency.Develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential operational disruptions.Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor key operational metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership.Prepare and present reports on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.Reporting & Compliance
Prepare reports and analyses on operational performance and administrative efficiencies.Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.Liaise with stakeholders to streamline administrative processes and operational workflows.Administrative Functions
Supervise administrative functions, including office management, facilities, and resource planning.Ensure compliance with internal policies, government regulations, and corporate governance standards.Oversee procurement and vendor management for operational and administrative needs.Manage administrative budgets and control costs related to office operations.Implement workplace policies and ensure proper documentation and record‑keeping.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, IT, or a related field.10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in an IT or technology‑driven company.Proven track record of successfully leading cross‑functional teams and driving operational excellence.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and digital transformation.Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) .Exceptional leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.Key Competencies
